Hey folks! Just wanted to touch base with everyone about a few things! 

We'll start with TAPAS. I just started posting Nocturne 21 on TAPAS last week. It's very behind in terms of released pages so that I can have time to build an audience there. I am posting more frequently on there so that I can quickly catch it up to my comic fury account. If any of you have a Tapas account I would be IMMENSELY grateful if you could subscribe to me on there too. If I reach at least 100 subscribers I can actually make some revenue and every little bit helps, since nowadays it's insanely expensive just to be alive. I will happily return the favor and subscribe to your comics as well if you have them posted on there! I haven't really hit webtoons yet, because I'm having weird issues with file uploads, but if I do, then I'll let you know.

Now let's talk about Chapter 3. I managed to get ahead on the coloring and I only have 7 pages left to color for Chapter 3. The bad news is that I had some severe procrastination issues on pencilling Chapter 4. Chapter 4 is a beast with 46 pages, which wouldn't have been an issue if I hadn't stalled for months on the pencils (seriously guys, the whole reason my comic is now in color is because I was dragging my feet on chapter 4...). I just wasn't in the zone, despite it being a chapter I've been really looking forward to. Good news is that this past week I have finally gotten the ball rolling and I'm gaining momentum on it with 19/46 pages pencilled and even one page inked! Since it's such a long chapter though I'm gonna have to either take a hiatus or cut down on the amount of pages I post. I would assume that you all would rather me go down to two pages a week instead of taking a hiatus, but I wanted to get your thoughts on that first! Chapter 3 is 24 pages long so if I post 2 pages a week instead of 3 that buys me an extra month to work on chapter 4. Let me know your thoughts!

Lastly, I just wanted to thank you guys again for reading. I've worked so hard on Nocturne 21 and I've always been incredibly insecure about my artwork and my storytelling. I was really nervous about posting, because it's very difficult to put yourself out there, especially when it comes to things your passionate about. You never know what kind of responses your going to get or if you end up getting no responses at all, which also sucks.  It has been so amazing to have you guys taking the time to read Nocturne and comment. Some of you have been very involved in the comments section and it has made me so happy. I truly enjoy reading your comments, so again, thank you so much!

Hey everyone! I haven't done a blog post in a while so I thought do one with some quick updates. As you may have noticed, my website has gotten a makeover. It's not exactly how I wanted it, but I haven't coded anything in probably 10 years so I'm a little out of practice. I might tweak things here and there as I learn more and dig deeper into the coding forums on here, but for now I'm mostly happy with it. At some point, I do plan to add extra pages, starting with a character page, but gonna have to do some artwork for it first.

I also added a discord button to the top of my website. I am very new to discord so my Nocturne 21 server is a little bare. I would love for you guys to drop in and say hi. If you have any suggestions or things you think I should add on there, I'd love to hear that too!

Lastly, I know I said in my last comic post that there were four weeks left of chapter 2. Apparently I can't count my own pages. We only have three weeks left, which means I need to get my ass to work on Chapter 4. Chapter 3 is a short chapter so I don't have as much time as I would like. I'm still pretty excited for you guys to get to the end of chapter 2, because there's lots of exciting things ahead!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to give you an update on when I'll start posting Chapter 2. I've had some minor set backs. My mini me was home sick for a few days last week so I was unable to get much work done. Also there will be some holiday/family days coming up this week and next week so daycare will be closed and I probably won't get much work done then either. I'm gonna do my best to get as much coloring done as possible so I'll have enough pages done to comfortably start posting again. I think my new posting schedule will start on on November 21 with three pages a week. I want to try and drum up more subscribers so I think I'm gonna post Monday, Wednesday and Friday and see how that works out. If it doesn't seem like it's going well then I'll probably return to my previous schedule. I hope that works for everyone!

Speaking of subscribers I finally hit double digits! It might not be a lot, but it's something and I'm super stoked! I'm slowly building my reader base! Thank you to everyone who has taken to read, comment and/or subscribe! I've poured so much love and work into this comic over the years and I can't express how grateful I am to those of you who took the time to read it! Thank you so much and I hope you continue to enjoy the story! Chapter two has some exciting stuff and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you all! 

Hey everyone! Just a quick update, I was unable to get pages 16-20 colored this week due to commission work, so no new pages this week. I will for sure have them done for next week so be on the lookout for new pages either Wednesday or Thursday! I did manage to get pages 11-15 done, so be sure to check them out if you have a minute! Hey everyone! I just wanted to update you on the newly colored pages and when the next batch of new pages will come out. I managed to get the first ten pages colored so I went ahead and swapped out the black and white pages. If you have a moment, check them out! I probably won't post new pages until I have the colored versions of those pages completed. As much as I'd like to have pages 11-20 colored by next week, I'm not sure that will happen. I have two commissions to work on so I won't be able to devote as much time to my comic as I'd like. I'll more than likely have them done for the following week, so look for new pages coming the first week of October! I left the black and white pages of 11-15 posted and I'll probably swap them out as soon as I get them colored. Thanks for reading! Have a lovely week!

Hey everyone!

So recently I've decided to make a big change and do my comic in color. I hadn't considered it for a long time because it's such a big undertaking and I didn't really think I was a good colorist. I've been practicing a lot with some of the illustrations/commissions I've been doing lately though so I decided to test it on one of my pages. I actually really enjoyed the turnout and after asking around, it was unanimously agreed that the color pages look better. I have started the process of coloring my pages, but I'm not sure exactly how I will roll them out. I'm gonna post the story this week as usual, but then maybe either take a break next week to catch up or I'll just kind of replace the pages as I get them colored. Not sure yet! Thanks for reading! Been a LONG time since I've been on here! I think my last post was in 2016 I think. A lot has happened since then. Hubby joined the military, we had a baby and now we're living it up in Japan. 

Some of you might remember my comic Nocturne 21 that I was posting when I was on here. I ended up starting the comic over because my art style has changed a lot over the years and I have a lot of story changes and better scripts than before. Gonna start posting the new version and soon I'll be starting a patreon as well. I'll keep you posted on the details, but for now I hope you enjoy the story!
